Throughout 2009, the Legal Assistance Project, the HOT COG Area Agency on Aging, Friends For Life and Central Texas Senior Ministry will again offer a series of free legal information and support forums for seniors and their caregivers. Topics will include navigating the Medicare system, Medical and Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Directives, Guardianships, Wills and the Probate process. All information will be presented in an easily accessible group format designed to help both seniors and their caregivers through the sometimes overwhelming decision-making process involved in long term-care planning.  

 

These forums are sponsored in part through the generous support of the Lutheran Services for the Elderly Endowment at the ELCA Foundation and private donations.
