Event Info

Walk-in Divorce Clinics: The Legal Assistance Project offers pro se divorce clinics every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. It is intended for uncontested divorces only. People are served on a first come, first served basis, so clients should arrive early. Attendees must bring:

 

> Valid ID for notary service

> Address of spouse (home or work)

> Date of marriage and separation

> Copies of any previous court order (such as child

    support or protective orders)

> A $10 suggested donation, 10 cents for each page

   copied, and $1 per signature for notary service.

 

Seniors Count Forums: The Seniors Count program offers a series of free legal information and support forums for seniors and their caregivers. Topics include navigating the Medicare system, Medical and Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Directives, Guardianships and Wills.
